RABIA UPDATES / NEW ARRIVALS!!!
SORE THROAT "UNHINDERED BY TALENT" (UK) 12" LP+POSTER
Yes it’s again
UK’s kings of cider fueled Noisecore/Punk: SORE THROAT!! We are proud to announce our second installment in
re-issuing their complete discography, this time it’s the turn for the classic
debut full length “Unhindered by talent” (1988) dusted off in a beautiful gatefold LP edition with
bonus poster and extensive liner notes by Rich Militia. And there’s more, due to the high demand, we also decided
to deliver you a new pressing of the previous “Death to capitalist Halmshaw” double gatefold LP with a different color sleeve and a new
limited splatter version. Just like Switzerland’s noise masters FEAR OF GOD (of which we are gradually re-issuing the entire
discography too), this is hands down one of our favourite bands so we have
really concentrated all our efforts to provide the best sounding vinyl result
and a great looking packaging, as these bands have pioneered the true spirit of
extremity in whatever is fast and blasting in Metal/Punk, so they deserve all
our respect and dedication.
NAUSEA "WORLD STRUGGLE: DEMOS 88-92" (USA) DIGIPACK CD
This is pure old school
Grindcore and you can’t get closer to TERRORIZER‘s legendary album “World
downfall“, in fact a third of the songs of Terrorizer’s “World downfall” were
actually NAUSEA material, the previous band of vocalist Oscar Garcia. Born from
the ashes of MAJESTY, they were not a side project of Terrorizer (as many think
incorrectly), but a definite band, even surviving the latter’s break up in
1988. Oscar Garcia even used some Nausea songs to complete the posthumous
Terrorizer record (‘Corporation Pull-in’, ‘Need to Live’, ‘Condemned System’
and the title track ‘World Downfall’ that was in origin a Majesty song)! On
this new CD edition you will find the songs featured on the LP one, so the
band’s classic “Psychological conflict” EP (1990), the obscure and under-rated “Tumor”
Demo (1992) and the entire split Demo with TERRORIZER (1988) bootlegged on
vinyl by Headache Rec in the early 90s, plus six raw yet powerful sounding
tunes from three different rehearsal recordings straight from 1987. These bonus
tracks are exclusive for this digipack CD repress and will square the circle of
the story of a band the helped to define a full genre! This is raw, doomy and
corrosive death metal tinged GRIND with whirlwind blast beats and those
incredible moshing riffs that became so influential when World Downfall gained
its deserved success!
VIOLENT NOISE
ATTACK "COMPLETE DEAFNESS 1988 / 1989" (FRANCE) 12" LP
Total
discography of this terrifying Grind/Noisecore unit hailing from
France… V.N.A. (Violent Noise Attack) was the side-project of a crew of friends
from the late 80s French scene formed by members of the Thrash band NOMED, Pat
from the highly missed label “Thrash Records” (that released Exit 13,
Carbonized, Sorcery, Sentenced, Vital Remains etc…) and local HC
bands/zine editors. Their debut demotape “Final execution“, the split 7” with
AGATHOCLES and the song on “1984, the fourth” Comp. LP have been always seen as
some of the most intense and devastating expressions of the early short-song
Grind/Noisecore era, respected by the most deranged noise extremists all over
the world. Try to imagine a mix of SORE THROAT, NAPALM DEATH‘s b-side of “Scum”
and FEAR OF GOD and you get the idea of the brain-drilling mayhem these maniacs
were able to deliver, with a studio production that was fairly above the
average level of the period.
ATTITUDE
ADJUSTMENT "DEAD SERIOUS DEMO 1985-LOST SESSION 1986"(USA) 12"
LP
F.O.A.D. Records, black vinyl limited to 400 copies, Another Thrashcore
milestone on FOAD Records!!! After unleashing top-quality gems like Wehrmacht,
Cryptic Slaughter, Ludichrist, S.O.D., Crumbsuckers, it was about time to brush
up another seminal name considered one of the strongest and most influential
roots of the Californian HC scene: ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT. Before reaching a cult
status with an incredible debut full length such as "American
paraonoia" they did an equally groundbreaking Demo, "Dead
serious" - consisting of 10 rapid-fire bursts of fast and furious
Hardcore. Quoting goodbamusic.com "ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT came out of the
blue with this one. They sent out the demo tape to a lot of international
fanzines and radio stations and got very popular immediately. Everybody was
blown away ? rarely had there been a genuine blend of the best elements of both
Hardcore and Metal, played with such passion. The joy is literally bleeding
through within every note, yet all the songs have a fascinating melodramatic
atmosphere. By the way, this was recorded at the infamous 'Turk Street Studios'
where EXODUS also had recorded a demo tape. If said EXODUS demo only had the
sound this one has ?" As for all FOAD releases, what you get on this LP is
hands down the top-sounding version of this Demo to date, mastered from the
best quality source in existence, provided by the band. And to make it even
more attractive we have added a complete bonus session from 1986 including 9
devastating tracks, 2 of which ("The meaning of life" and "Hue
massacre") are completely unreleased/never-heard-before!! Both recordings
have every element of the genre that harbors greatness. Speedy riffs, spastic
drum beats, Hardcore vocals in the right places, and clean/spoken word vocals
in others. Special dynamic vinyl mastering by Toxic Basement Studio (yet again
a guarantee of quality), artwork reproducing the original tape's layout and
extra insert with lyrics and rare flyers. A must!
DISCHARGE "LIVE AT THE CITY GARDEN NEW JERSEY" (UK) GATEFOLD
12" LP+POSTER+INSERT
F.O.A.D. Records, black vinyl, gatefold, insert, poster, ltd. 150,
Official reissue of this legendary live LP from the band's golden days,
originally released on Clay Records in 1989. A slab of pure rawness that
captures these UK Punk icons in an intense, ultra-powerful performance during
their legendary 2nd US tour (Northern USA and Canada) in fall 1983. As the
original pressing says "these recordings were taped on the sound desk on
the night of the concert and although they may lack the technology of full studio
recordings they nevertheless capture the live excitement of a Discharge gig and
have been fully approved for release by the group". In point of fact, this
is raw, furious and totally out of control and together with "The
nightmare continues" (the other Discharge's official live album on Clay)
it portays in full effect these D-Beat generators at the top of their game. All
their classic anthems are included: "Hear nothing, see nothing, say
nothing, "Never again", "Potest and survive", "The
blood runs red", "Decontrol" and so on.. And as for all
F.O.A.D.'s releases this has been mastered from the best sounding source in
existence at Toxic Basement Studio, keeping the original sonic impact in its
most genuine and uncontaminated form, just adding more balance to the
instruments and that punch-in-the-face live feel that no band has ever topped.
Served in a thick glossy UV gatefold jacket: the outside is a detailed
reproduction of the original sleeve, the inside and insert - all designed and
assembled by Rich Militia of SORE THROAT - include a stunning collection of
rare photos from that tour (and other shows of the same period), flyers and
detailed liner notes. Quoting the ending paragraph: "Live At The City
Garden New Jersey is one of the better recordings and performances of the band
at this point, and no one can deny the power of tracks like "Anger
burning" or "Born to die in the gutter". They are beyond
reproach in my opinion. This is the perfect epitaph to the band's 1983-1984
period. Lovingly remastered for vinyl by those lunatics at F.O.A.D. Records,
and with some finished packaging upgrades, this is not state control, this is
Rock'n'Roll!!". And wait, there's more.. inside you'll also find an
accurate reproduction of the original poster of that tour, an item highly
sought after by collectors!
